Phirni is a creamy dessert made  from ground rice, milk,sugar and cardamom. It has got it's variations too.

I got loads of laddus from whilst getting back from sis wedding. I had come across this variety of phirni sometime back in utube. This was perfect time to execute :).
This came out real yummy and could not resist myself from blogging this :).
Here goes motichur/boondi laddu phirni.

Motichur Phirni Recipe | Boondi Ladoo Phirni

Serves: 5

5 cup Milk( 1 ltr )
4-5 Motichur/Boondi ladoo
1/4 cup Basmati Rice (you can use any rice)
Sugar (according to taste) I used 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup
1 tsp Cardamom(6-7)
Almonds chopped for garnishing

1.Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
2.Drain water from rice and allow it to dry or pat dry in kitchen towel and make coarse powder(not very fine). It will look like rava.Keep Aside.
3.Boil the milk in a thick bottom pan in a medium flame.
4.When the milk comes to boil add the rice and keep in low flame.
5.Add the Ladoo and mix well and keep stirring.
6.Add the sugar if required and keep stirring in between so that no lumps are formed.
7.When the rice is almost done, add in cardamom powder.
8.Once the desired consistency is reached switch off. Phirni will become thick once cooled.
9.Transfer to serving bowl and garnish with almonds.
10.Chill for 3 to 4 hours. Always Serve Chilled.
