Have u forgotten to make dosa batter ? no time to ferment batter? No need to worry, rava dosa saves u :). Rava Dosa is popular South Indian breakfast. It is quick and instant breakfast. It helps me during hurry burry weekdays :)..So here goes Rava dosa ...
Makes: 10-12 Dosas
1 cup Rava/Suji
1 cup Rice Flour
1/4 cup Maida/All Purpose Flour
1/4 cup Onion chopped
1 Green Chilly
1 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
1 tsp Cumin Seeds/Jeera
10 Curry Leaves
3-4 cup Water
Salt to taste
Oil as required
1.Finely chop onion, Green Chilly , Coriander and curry Leaves.
2.Mix all the ingredients listed above except oil by putting water little at a time so that no lumps are formed.
3.Keep the batter in running consistency. It should be thin batter.
4.Keep Aside the batter for 30 minutes.
5.Heat the tawa. If you not using non stick tawa, add oil and spread on tawa.
6.Pour the batter starting from edges towards centre. Don't spread using back side of spoon.
8. When base becomes brown turn and cook other side.
9.Serve hot dosa with chutney and enjoy. It has to be served immediately.
